Archaeship

Temperature

65.0 Fahrenheit

Facts

The box's temperature is on a range of 65-78 degrees Fahrenheit. This is room temperature, which is a very stark contrast to the hot climate of archeological dig sites. If the box gets too cold or too hot, the artifact can crack or break, which is why the box can automatically adjust to stay in a cooler temperature using a built-in ventilation system, heater, and cooling system.

Notes about the box

The frame is constructed of Carbon Fiber Stainless Steel Compound.

The box includes an N.F.C. sensor that lets any phone with a N.F.C. coil to easily gain access to the box's smart equipment. Can control temperature and humidity on a range of 65-78 degrees Fahrenheit, and 30-50% humidity.

Artifacts dug up are usually very fragile, so the interior includes memory foam walls and floor to avoid damaging the artifacts while in transport. It also includes a magnetic levitation system for the cushioning to make any impacts or movement on the inside even to avoid breaking any fragile artifacts.

There are 4 cameras on the inside and multiple sensors to monitor from a connected phone to scan for damages of the artifacts or the box.

Why it matters

Fossils and archeological artifacts are naturally fragile and can break from the weakest factors during transportation. This box is helpful because it is available at all times with the app, and the user can control the characteristics like humidity and temperature inside that provides safety for the artifact.

Humidity

30% Humidity

Facts

The box's humidity is on a range of 30-50%. Just like the temperature, this is the average room humidity, once again a very stark contrast to hot and typically dry climates of archeological dig sites. Similary to temperature, artifacts can get very damaged if the humidity is too high or too low, which is why the box can automatically adjust using a built-in humidifier and ventilation system.
